The Burnside's Lemmer
Group theory comes to the rescue, and in particular, something called burnside's lemmer. This is a result that precisely deals with this situation. So we can't just divide by forty eights of what are we going to do? We can't go through 479 million tone rows one by one,. working out how many images they have then put you no ticking those off our massive list of 479 million things. The problem with that is illustrated by a waburn tone row. And it's not just devied by forty eight. You might thinke, everything's got forty eight images. So put all te forty those forty eight together and that counts as one. So
