Is the World Run by Matter or by Spirit?

The need for an external moral order is one of the deepest needs. The mind with the shortest views is simply the mind of the more shallow man. Evidence for God lies primarily in inner personal experiences. Why shouldn't you be using this tool, so to speak, that we're having at our hands? why shouldn't we?
