The Generalizations in Computer War Games

I calculated how many war games sessions have I played in my whole life and the answer I came up with is no more than five thousand somewhere between twenty five hundred and five thousand so a quite small number. Yet I have pulled out a whole bunch of generalizations from these games and it's probably across 200 titles maybe 300 titles something like that. There are certain patterns that I can apply to these games and I can get to play them quite good quite quick because I'm operating at this level of abstraction. But there's no evidence so far that current architectures are really going to be capable of doing one-shot learning as well as people or even smart dogs.
