The Discovery of the Fusion Protein in CML

Brian Drucker was a Hemong fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Center. He wanted to study BCR able, which is the fusion protein found in CML. The discovery of the fusion protein goes back many years. By the mid 1990s, Brian was very interested in drugging it. In retrospect, they made something like $15 billion from the drug.
