Bonhoeffer is considered a modern martyr in the church. His books that he wrote have discipled generations long after he has came. And even though it didn't look like much, it was true that man on the banks of the river was right. What he did in that tiny little school was stronger than Hitler and stronger than the Third Reich. The Roman Empire will be brought to its knees by the love of Jesus and the faithfulness of his followers.
