The Importance of Open Source Motors
IBM is working with NAMFOCUS to create an open source community for material science. It's creating a venue where not only IBMers, but also other people from other companies or organizations can benefit from that kind of community exchange. "We haven't really talked about standards that much," says Tim O'Shea; he'll be at the IEEE conference in Chicago this July.
