YP means they are actually quite young. And they're maybe exploring their sexuality, they're exploring a lot of things. They are in early stages, like first few relationships kind of situation. Like they haven't learned to articulate how they feel yet and know the necessary steps. So I think it's a bit unfair, but it feels like maybe that girl was just waiting for his opportunity. He was respectfully waiting until the person was single to make a move. But then the move was not respectful.
