I worked really well with Jeremy and had done for years up until the point when he was made leader of the opposition, at which point an incredible tribalism came in. And that tribalism meant that it was bloody impossible even just to speak to him for a couple of years. I mean, he speaks to me now and everything's fine, but that period when he was leader of the Labour Party, when he could have done more, I was pursuing a long grater. So if he's serious about a long term program of transformation, and maybe he's not, but if he were, then again, it would be so much in their interest to change that voting system"
