The January 6 Investigations Are Trying to Prevent the Republicans From Getting Their Hands on It

In the waning hours of the January 6 investigations existence, the investigators are trying to get this sensitive material to a safe place before the Republicans take over. It appears that they're doing that essentially. So that sensitive material will no longer be in Congress's hands as the Congress falls into Republican control. The material instead will be returned to the Biden White House and the Biden administration controlled Homeland Security Department. Those entities can try to restrict whether that sensitive information will ever be released. This is dramatic stuff.
