Frames With a Stiff Arm

Steve: I call this having a solid frame, meaning that you've got a frame that doesn't have many points of failure and your joints tend to be those points of failure. A classic example is framing with a stiff arm where you're kind of like putting your, your palm out and you're trying to stiff arm your opponent away. Steve: You can also apply frames with a straight arm. He says in the G if you have fixed grips, whether it's a lapel or even a sleeve, you can totally stiff arm that grip. And that's actually a very effective way to prevent your opponent from flanking around your side.
