The Importance of Having a Mentor

I think people underestimate what they can learn from their peers. A lot of people are very focused on someone at a very high position at a very well-known tech company and trying to get this person to be their mentor. You're going to learn a lot just at your first job from your peers, right? From other designers that you're working with, but also product managers and working with engineers. And it's up to you as the designer to take that relationship to a deeper level.
