Marianne Lund: I looked at Flight Radar 24, this app that allows you to see which planes are out there and where they're going. She says it's about 9-10 billion tons of CO2 each year - similar to the emissions from a country like Germany. In terms of aviation, activity was down by as much as 75 percent per day in the worst weeks according to one study.
