The Importance of Sharing

The need to share is particularly acute in both the best of times and the worst of times. In large, mpersonal, urban communities such a standard may go no further than asking for a light or directions. The obligation to share food and whatever else is considered a basic necessity tends to become the basis of every society whose members see themselves as equals. But this base line of open handed sharing and generosity never extends to everything.
