We take a look at the legal landscape of the time, and then have to take a quick detour as it turns out things are actually WORSE now in many ways. Don't believe me? What if I told you the Supreme Court ruled that being innocent is not a good enough reason for the state to not kill you? What if I told you that happened in 1993 not 1893?
