The Role of Muscle Glycogen in Fatigue

In a 2011 study, scientists found that low muscle glycogen availability actually impairs muscles to release calcium. So when you're talking about your inability to run a pelvic as your muscles are hollow, it's probably due to glycogen. And one of the things that I think is most interesting is consider this if you've struggled with cramps. It might just have to do with some of these glycogen depots becoming depleted in weird preferential ways.
