In the historic sizing mode you would kind of say well what is a disease and so that's another question. Each of these things that appears obvious like even just depression is a disease or a chemical imbalance or whatever means something to someone who can then extrapolate from that. It shows the kind of power of meaning that a lot of these metaphors or analogies have right which is that they produce other obvious practices.
