Radio Blackout in Hypersonics
When they're at hypersonic speeds, do is it radio blackout? Is that the default? Can it not communicate? So it does depend. If you're coming back from the space station, for example, you would definitely have a period of radio blackout there. What happens in that case is that the air that's around the vehicle gets heated up to very high temperatures.
