The Role of Calories in Weight Loss

I think that if you are someone who has a history of eating disorders, so anorexia, bulimia, anything like that, certainly you should be working with a professional. I would definitely leave it to the professional to advise you in terms of what you should be doing. For those of us who don't have a history of an eating disorder and are trying to lose weight, I do think that calorie counting can be useful. Most people have no idea what they're taking in. In order for you to get into ketosis, you do need to aggressively clamp down on your carbohydrate intake.
