The Hermeneutic of the Old Testament
If all scripture is one organic whole inspired by the Lord, that we should be able to find that same type of hermeneutic among Old Testament writers reflecting upon and developing earlier Old Testament writings. In fact, you'll find that some New Testament uses of the Old Testament that Old Testament text that they're using has already used an earlier one or they're referring to an earlier one that's used by a later one. And if you're not aware of the later text in the Old Testament, then you're going to miss something interpretive significance in the Jews in the news.
