Gene Therapy - What Inspired You to Start a Company?
I don't think the translational aspects of gene therapy can really stay in an academic environment for too long. What really inspired me was actually my dog Bear. The older populations are really the patients who need these types of therapeutics the most. Coming up with something that we can actually give to them as a therapy was really what drove me.
