The Third Way: Bowing Down to God
If we use any of those scriptures as our 100% default, we're really just bending the Bible to say what we wanted to say and fit our best interests. The Bible's actually keying us in into this reality that is a through line through the whole Scripture. You don't get to have one and not the other. Bow and down is an invitation to invite God into the very thing that we might not ever want him to look at.
