Love Your Neighbour

When you boil something down to the thing that we all agree on, it's just the law. The how to be good of christianity is love your neighbour. But when we get into modern conceptions of love, as far as i can tell, what love means is actually its opposite. You know? No one else knows, in fact, a loving parent would not abandon their children unless they were taken away from them. In order for me to love you,  i can't be at all concerned about anything other than being true and letting god have his way with us.
