There was that legendary asking Michael Harold the same question. He wasn't one of the ones who's good at getting them to relax and open up. The rules before that really were if a politician does not answer the question maybe two or three times, then you just move on. It probably ruined any chance Michael Howard had at that point of becoming leader of the Conservative Party. And according to Jeremy, Michael knew that clearly after the interview.
