The Unbalanced Situation in Ecuadorian Guinea

Ecuadorian Guinea is a country so unbalanced that macroeconomics textbooks include caveats about it. At its peak, Ecuadorian Guinea had a GDP per capita of 21,517 - higher than Spain and Greece. But with the oil revenues beginning to drop, that figure has already fallen to under half. The situation being that 70% of the country live on less than $1 a day.
