The Crunch of a Stone Walkway
Timothy had been lost in thought, considering the best way to install a stone walkway outside his little cottage. Pushing a wheelbarrow filled with decorative gravel, he intended to spread around the border of his garden when he heard a soft crunch. He looked down and saw that beneath the wheels of his wheelbarrow was a patch of brightly colored daisies. They were beautiful daisies, at least they had been. Now they were smushed into the ground, their stems torn. Timothy felt a great sense of unease, spread over him and he looked away from his neighbor Badelia. Then, quietly, he muttered, oops, he began ambling home
