As a Russian, it boggles my mind how much drink is legal in the UK. You can't come to work drunk but you could be smashing 10 pints every night. By legalizing these drugs, you take it away from the gangs. And you disrupt their business model and make income off it. Surely it's a win-win? No, it isn't. What you do is give them a much, much bigger market. Nowhere in the world is the illegal market gone away. So if I'm smoking with the government, basically giving me meaningful cigarettes, right?
