The Angel of the Lord

The story of Hagar and the well is a picture of God as the solution to what ails us. It doesn't come from human might nor by power, it's by God and his will alone that brings ultimate victory. The Bible talks about lots of angels, but when it specifies the Angel of the Lord or the Angel of God, I think that's talking about the preincarnate Jesus.
