The American Bullfrog Is the Number One Amphibian in the World
The united states comprises 50 % of the global market for amphibians. We are the number one country importing amphibian across the globe. Most of, well, the number one species, ironically, that is imported,. your listeners might get a kick out of this, is the american bullfrog. But most of those animals are actually imported as live and then they go through production here. About half of the animals that we import are destined for about two million animals or so go into really just the food market but the rest are our pets.
