The Wide Stripes: A History of Detroit

The Gold Dollar burned down to it. It was almost kind of like the CBGBs of Detroit to our scene. I'm very lucky to have been part of something that connected with people in that way. The microphone lines go from here to third-man mastering console and we can cut the vinyl live from stage. This room and the third-man Nashville room are the only two places in the world where you can cut a live vinyl record in front of an audience. So it's pretty unique.
