i ed through it as a politicized and politically aware adult. Some of the quotes you have from obama about the need to impose austerity while un employment was still at extremely high levels, its just astounding in retrospect. And i'm not totally convinced. But what i think is really powerful about a greenew deal is that there is a political strategy baked into it that is based on a reading of how climate policy has not passed in this country by ignoring the lives of working people.
