Folklore Is a Thing

i feel like everyone should be more ok with understanding why folklore exists and what purpose it serves. i think there's often this idea there's a clear distinction between fact and folklore. Folk lore is going to take on new shapes every generation. But we really should take it seriously as part of very important data set of, like, this is human observational history.
