The Power of Silicon Valley

Mario Vargas Llosa: Silicon Valley has some of that story still, but it feels like in many respects outside of the tech world, it is perceived a little bit like banking might have been around 2008. And perhaps that is part of the power of Silicon Valley and the idea that this is a place you can come to do way more than what you thought was possible for yourself. He says technology at least feels like it is still able to run productive experiments and contribute. The companies should be celebrated and the founders and the leaders who helped bring that stuff to pass should also be celebrated.
