Is There a New Congress on Proof of Work Mining?

I don't really expect much to come of the executive report on energy usage among quote unquote crypto and Bitcoin that we talked about last month at length. However, there are some pretty left of center places like New York and elsewhere where it seems like they're going to be moving rapidly in a continued basis to try and impose additional restrictions on proof of work mining. So I expect once those laws are in place, folks like myself and others who have already been in contact with are eager to challenge them in court. Eventually, you may get something out of Washington, but I'm not particularly expecting anything in the near term.
