What's Going on in Genesis 23?

Genesis 23 concludes the basically the Abraham and Sarah season of Genesis. God's name is not even mentioned except for kind of once and passing. The main event is that Sarah has died and Abraham wants to bury her. It reminds us of what happens at the end of Genesis 14 where Abraham refuses the gifts of Sodom.
