The Grandparent Hypothesis

The hypothesis is actually that in order to have more grandmothers, we turn off the reproduction switch. So all of the resources that grandmas could be putting into their own kids is suddenly doubled down onto their kids' kids. And I know from experience that the grandparents is only too ready to take on the grandparent role.
