The Guyan's Search for Cocaine
The U.S. Coast Guard, Delaware State Police and Philadelphia City Cops joined forces to search the Guyan in June 2010. The agents acquired special oxygen monitoring devices for deep beneath the deck. They assembled a group of drug-sniffing dogs and obtained cameras that could be snaked into loaded containers. In total, at least eight of the 22 crew members aboard the Guyan handled the job; each stood to make $50,000 or substantially more.
