Habermas is in one respect very much associated with what's referred to as modern philosophy. There's a whole sort of theme of embodiment that comes up through her, which is predominantly about the body. But then Merluponti takes Heideggerian phenomenology and says it would be better if we took it away from being made into an abstracted language. I'd love to see those two guys debate or read something that fully connects the two because I feel like they're serving the same purpose in terms of getting past the ills of the modern age.
