Shannon pettypiece, mark murray and Sarah fagan join us for a look at the president's speech. The white house is trying to strike a balance between uniting all americans in defence of democracy against extremists who put their own pursuit of power above all else. Michael beshloss says he can make a tactical political argument but thinks it was an important speech that should be seen as more than partisanship. Cornell belcher: "I have not seen a more important speech since a president give up civil rights movement" Sara ogtvedt: "It was fitting with the november plans. I tactically understand what he's doing."
