#97 SREEJAN KUMAR - Human Inductive Biases in Machines from Language

Machine Learning Street Talk (MLST)

CHAPTER

What's the Technical Framework That You've Used in the Paper?

A new paper shows that humans and machines have different ducted biases. The tasks that humans are good at are the tasks that RL agents are bad at, according to this study. And so it's like a two-part paper. One is about how you actually instill human ducted biases to get the RL agent to behave like a human. To answer that, we co-trained the agent on natural language description and program induction abstractions in order to guide them during learning to learn human-like inducted biases.
