Boethius Loves Philosophy and He Loves Plato
There are strong stylistic parallels with Platonic dialogues, you know this sort of and it's not as if Plato was the only one who wrote dialogues. I mean there's something so beautiful about the fact that that Boethius is able to think this way while in prison because he's actually writing it in prison. He is telling his own story And he puts all of the best points in the mouth of full of lady philosophy He does not put Any of the good points in his own mouth Right is willing to make himself look quite obtuse at times.
