Is There a Difference Between Pain and Sematic Suffering?

Suffering is not the beol an and all of moral status either. Even beings that don't have a capacity to suffer could still have moral status. So i think it's a very complex questionjut, which aspects of suffering carry the most moral weight? But that is an important subject and one for considerable future reflection and debate. There seems to be an interesting project of looking at this movement in and out of virtual worlds and how that might enrich our understanding of ourselves.
