And i can't help but wonder if puton saw the current social situation in the united states as somewhat of an opportunity. I think there's going to be a real hesitation to go get involved, at least in this way. What we know historically is that these things have a tendency to escalate. We don't know a deep history rooted in just war theory doesn't keep you from ing a military things unjustly. But if you don't have a framework, then you don't need it. The only thing that's driving anything is power and opportunism and things like that.
