Is There a Lot of Luck in Chess?
In chess, you literally, you win if you're the better player. You have to own the moves that you make and you have to own that relative to the moves that other people can make. There is a right move, and there is no luck, right? If you lose, it's on you for making the wrong moves. And then the second part, which may be related, is that there's no bias in everything. Your game represents how your perceived moves do or don't matter. It was really, really a game changing for me, i think, to early on realize that if i invested the time effort, again, ah, into this thing, it didn't matter
