Xenophon and the Greeks

Xenophon describes Suthis as a king who wanted to be the supreme king of the Ugrisian state. Xenophon and his delegation went back to the army, and a few days later, the entire Greek army was assembled outside of Suthis' tower. They then camped on the plane where a Thracian tribe, known as the Thrinoy, usually lived, but had abandoned it due to their arrival. When the Thinoy saw this massive horde, they came down and entered into discussions for a truce. Afterwards, the joint Greek Thracian army crossed the mountains and entered the Delta, in the Thracian countryside to the northwest of Byzantion
