Iobound is a new linker that's very clearly targeting things like this. Zig is building their Mac OS development linker. Then of course we have the surgical linker, which is much, much more limited in scope. But right again is when you're talking about a Linux executable, currently the speed is basically the speed to flush a map to disk. It takes an application. It copies some bytes on the end and then updates a few bytes and says flush it to disk. Right.
