The Lack of Regionality in Yankee's Opening Series

I think it goes back to maybe it's because Otani is a teammate of Mike Trout, but I can't remember Mike Trout ever being presented this way. And if you don't present him this way, people can't get it. But as much as Otani is more of a jokester and a prankster and has more obvious personality, there is the language barrier. It's a chicken and egg thing. Is Trout the way he is? Is Paul Gulchmidt the way he was? Or are they not pumped up for a certain reason because of their personality,. Their inherent nature of just not necessarily wanting to be in the spotlight?"
