The internet is heading towards a catastrophic break point, according to the author. He argues that its only hope for reaching equilibrium is to start slowing down. The author suggests that one day, technological advances will enable us to develop an almost symbiotic relationship with the internet. But even if we do so, electronic devices will still be unable to replace humans. We would work together to form a uniquely intelligent and functioning network.
