i find it so interesting that, at least for the most part, people who like, work in r s e are either women or l j b, t. And i really annoys me, because there should be more of us that realize that we should be better for each other. If you took about sex, it is about, like, men's pleasure. There'd beu better men around if we taught boys to be better. We em, we don't necessarily talk about that lot. Em, like, why aren't there wat dudesinsects? E, dipinto a lot. Do you think a lot of mentosit don't see that it is their problem?
This week, Hannah is joined by Dolly Padalia and Nathaniel Cole from Sexplain, an organisation that provides comprehensive and inclusive SRE workshops for young people in the UK. Dolly and Nathaniel discuss the work of Sexplain, and the conversations they’ve had with young people around consent, sending nudes, and rape culture. They also chat about SRE becoming compulsory this September, and whether schools are ready for it! Nathaniel also talks about being a straight, cis man working in SRE and why those who are part of the problem should also be part of the solution. Finally, they talk about the reaction of parents around teaching young people sex education.
