Is It Important to Overstep Immigration Categories?
One of my objectives in terms of scholarship contribution, especially when we look at what it has been produced so far related to Chinese migrants and Chinese marriage migrants in Taiwan. I would say that the fact that we need to overstep these categories when looking at this Chinese migrant women's mobility and migratory experiences And once again related to the emotional or even imaginative and aspirational dimension of their migration. It is through the production of emotions of ambition of aspiration of imagination of representations that lives of continuity amongst the different migratory parts.
