Is Dark Matter Really Real?

Dark matter particles are densest in the centre of a galaxy. But ordinary matter is denser than dark matter in innermost regions, because it does not collide. Attempts to detect them now under way with room size experiments. No detection so far - but I'm very optimistic that one could come along any time soon.
